Stockholm has gone from relative normal winter temperatures to warm spring winds in just a few days. Melting the snow. Starting snowdrops and coltsfoot to bloom at least a month early. Tricking nature and my inbred sense of the seasons to think it’s late March rather then February.

We have had a mix of everything – big winds, huge waves, cool temperatures, then warm sunny days, rain, sunshine……….March coming in like a very confused lion……….buds are visibly preparing to open soon………..yippee.

Lots of sunshine this week – I even tried to ride my bike again and will give it another go today – and this morning with have some ground frost with bright sunshine.More leaves on the honeysuckle and buds on the cherry tree, as well as more snowdrops, daffodils and primroses in the verges. Looking good!..
