Hi kids, the sun is shining and people are digging out across the province. It will be months, they say, before the veritable LAKE in the agricultural area dries up. They still havent been able to access the buildings where the drowned livestock bodies are. There are still towns where people are unable to return to even assess the damage, still many dislocated, with no idea what they will do next. But everything feels more positive once the rain stops.

So happy to hear the sun is out. Breathe it in and go on. Your letter to the cows makes for heavy hauling but it’s so necessary.

This was inspired by Laura at d’Verse. It was fun to write — thought I’d share some fun.
