  1. Flooding is happening in B.C. again, as the temperatures rise and the snowpack melts….even in places that havent flooded before……even places that have barely recovered from last year’s wildfires. Is the government doing anything about climate change? Oh no, more important to keep corporations happy and get re-elected. Sigh. In Kelowna, Mission Creek, a place I took my children, has turned into a raging river. The other morning a young woman went out to walk her dog, like every day. She and the dog have disappeared. I surmise the dog may have fallen in and she tried to rescue him. It happens just that fast. I can’t BELIEVE, given all of these obvious warnings from Mother Earth, that those elected to lead us are still doing nothing. But they are good with the words. Empty words. It drives me crazy. Not to mention the devastation of infrastructure in Yellowstone with the flooding there. And heat domes heading our way. Argh.
